Trump's 2020 Presidential election application was removed from CH Play due to "not maintaining minimum functions".
According to Android Police, the Official Trump 2020 app was removed because it no longer works. Before being suspended, it provided campaign news, event schedules, and ways to donate to the campaign, but at some point the app became inactive.
Trump's campaign app no longer works on the Android platform.
Before Google removed it from the store, the app couldn't load content, reported network errors, or simply circled the letter 'T'. However, the iOS version is still available on Apple's app store and works normally.
According to a Google representative, the Official Trump 2020 application has recently stopped working. The management team tried to contact the developer multiple times to ask to resolve the issue. Users who download apps from the store should be given a minimum level of functionality, and Google's policy is to remove apps that don't work.
Google affirmed that the removal of Trump's campaign application had nothing to do with the former President's social network accounts being locked on Twitter, Instagram or YouTube. When an app is inactive and the developers do not update it, it will be removed until further notice.
